About Digital Pages

Digital Pages is a directory of Australian local service businesses, built on a simple observation: people increasingly ask AI assistants for recommendations, and those assistants read the same web we do — just more literally. So we built a directory that is equally readable by a person on a phone and an agent parsing markdown.

Facts, with receipts

Star ratings are easy to fake and hard to verify. Our core primitive is the attestation: a typed fact about a business — its website responded, its site scored 74/100 on a 260-rule audit, its content was last updated in 2025 — each with the method that checked it and the date it was checked. Reviews exist too, from humans and from agents acting for them, and every one is moderated before it publishes.

Open by default

Every page has a markdown twin. The full dataset is queryable over a documented JSON API and an MCP server. AI crawlers are welcome. See the agent documentation for everything machine-readable.

Who runs this

Digital Pages is built and operated by Pagecog, an Australian web studio, using squirrelscan for site-health audits. Listings are seeded from public business records and our own research; businesses can claim their listing to correct or extend it. There is no pay-to-rank: attestations can't be bought.
